Chapter 28: Tattoos and Guns

Jovie’s POV

I was shocked when we entered the dining room to see the whole gang there. Dallas, Scotty, and Dewey.

“Jo!” They chorused. 

I was buried in a hug from the three boys. I laughed happily. I really had missed them. 

“Alright enough!” I laughed. 

I surveyed the three guys in front of me. They hadn’t changed one bit.

Dallas had a goofy grin on his tan face. The freckles decorated across his nose were more prominent than ever. His dark blue eyes were crinkled in joy and happiness. He was always such a positive force.

Scotty flipped his long brown hair out of his face. His snake bite piercings gleamed in the light as he grinned. His large brown eyes looked me up and down, taking me in. It was like he forgot what I looked like and now he needed a full on reminder.
