I WILL MAKE HER DISAPPEAR

MAX

Jade began to gasp for air and I realized I was strangling her. I quickly let go while she fell back on the bed.

Seeing how she struggled to breathe made me feel guilty. I wasn't someone who would physically assault a pregnant woman or any woman for that matter.

But I hated opportunists like Jade and I regretted ever meeting her. I knew my past was messy and it wasn't so long ago but I'd always been careful and fully protected when dealing with girls.

Jade was my first and only mistake. At the time, I thought it didn't matter because she was a virgin and looked innocent. Heck, I thought I got value for my money, but in the end, it was all a big trap and she made sure to get pregnant with triplets to rip my gullible father off completely.

I looked at her with unconcealed hatred and when I turned to leave, she said, "Hold on, Max."

"What is it now?" I snapped.

"I never intended to come into your life this way or try to turn it upside down. I promise that I'll not interfere with whatever you're doing in any way. I just want my babies to be safe and for what it's worth, I'm sorry."

I walked out without saying a word in reply. Damn! She was good. Playing the innocent victim until the very end, huh? I was going to rip off her mask and show my dad how despicable she really was. The first step was finding out everything I possibly could about her and I knew just the man who could get the job done.

After making arrangements to find out everything about Jade, if that was even her real name, I drove to a lounge and called my girlfriend on the way, "Something terrible has happened, Stacy. I need to talk to you."

"What happened?" she asked worriedly.

"Meet me at my favorite lounge," I replied.

Stacy showed up a few minutes later and saw me drinking.

"I thought we agreed you'd stay away from alcohol for now," She told me.

I took hold of her hands, "I'm sorry, Stacy. Promise me that you won't leave me."

She chuckled, "Why would I leave you? Go on, tell me what the problem is."

"I... I've gotten a girl pregnant." I told her.

"What!" She pulled her hands away from mine, "You've been cheating on me?"

I shook my head, "No, no, I haven't, I promise. It was before you and I started dating."

She stared at me suspiciously, "How far along is she?"

"She's six months pregnant," I replied.

Before we met four months ago, you already knew how reckless and promiscuous I was. One night I played a crazy game with my friends and they dared me to have sex with a virgin.

I don't even know why I went to such an extent to do it. Stacy, ever since I met you, I've lost interest in living such a life. I have cut off from those friends and my focus is on the company.

You know how much I love you and you changed me. You made me a better man and I only want to have a future with you. I know you are a perfectionist and wouldn't accept anything like this, that's why I'm afraid. I never expected that my past would bite me on the ass so soon.

This girl is deliberately trying to ruin me. Yes, I didn't use protection that night but I paid a hundred thousand dollars which was twice the amount she requested.

Even if it was her first time, she knew what she was doing. Why else would she wait until she was six months pregnant before showing up at my house and making sure my dad saw her?

She keeps playing the helpless girl act but she just wants to pin me down and ruin our love. What upsets me the most is that my dad is being taken in by her deceit. He's so desperate for grandchildren that he has refused to see anything wrong in Jade's actions."

"Calm down," Stacy told me. "Is your dad asking you to marry this girl?"

"Oh no...God forbid, he's not." I quickly replied.

She smiled, "Then this is not a big problem."

I took her hands into mine again, "You don't understand because you're different. You don't know girls like that. Yes, she's pretending that she doesn't want to marry me and just needs a roof over her head but this is all part of her plan."

Stacy sighed, "It seems she's not a simple girl. It's a good thing that your dad likes me a lot and approves of me as your girlfriend. If you want, I can make her very miserable until she runs away on her own."

I shook my head, "No, that's not a good idea now. My dad favors her for now. He may like you but he loves his would-be grandchildren more. Did I tell you that there are three of them?"

She gasped, "What? Three? Now I know she really planned to get pregnant for you. But are you sure she's pregnant with your babies?"

I lowered my head sadly, "Yes, they're mine. My dad did a DNA test with our family doctor and I was fingered as the father. Don't do anything to her, I don't want my dad to turn against you. He can be very brutal when he wants to be."

"This is really disturbing," Stacy said angrily. "No, on second thoughts, it's not."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Look at it this way," She began to explain. "You and I will get married soon and she will give birth. We can take the children from her and raise them together."

"Would you really take care of the children?" I asked in disbelief.

Stacy smiled, "They're your children, so why wouldn't I? You know I'm a model and giving birth would ruin my body. We get to have children without putting me through the stress. It's a win-win for both of us.

Once she gives birth in three months, you can pay her off and make her disappear. We'll get a nanny and I'll be the mother of the children. They will all call me Mom and you, dad."

My eyes lit up as I realized that Stacy was right. I smiled, "This is such a good idea. Why didn't I think about it before? Oh, baby, you're a genius."

She chuckled, "You were just worrying for nothing. Come on, let's celebrate because you are about to become a father. I'll come to the house tomorrow and take a look at this girl. What's her name?"

"Jade," I replied.

After speaking to Stacy, I felt a lot better. She always had a way of making me feel amazing and that was one of the reasons I was so crazy about her.

I said goodnight to Stacy and went back home. I had to let my dad know what Stacy and I had decided.

However, when I saw him in the living room dancing and celebrating, I lost it and snapped, "What is wrong with you, Dad? You know for a fact that this girl is taking advantage of us yet you are busy celebrating."

My dad looked at me and smiled, "Max my son, you can go ahead and throw a fit if you want. I am very happy today and it's all thanks to you. I will not be upset because you are my hero."

"I don't even know you anymore," I angrily replied and walked away.

I went straight to my room and was about to shut the door when my dad who had quietly followed behind me, said, "Hold on, I'm coming in."

"I turned my back on him and said, "Say what you want and leave Dad."

He walked into my room, took a seat, and beamed, "Don't look at me like that. Do you think I'm stupid? I know girls like Jade, I'm merely playing her game.

Once I get my grandchildren, I will make her disappear from our lives."

My eyes widened in surprise, "Really?"
