Epiphany

Alexander was shocked, yet oddly pleased at her declaration.

"I don't know. I just can't help it, and I'd really like it if you sir, stopped teasing me." She said drunkenly, and he smiled.

"Go on. I'm listening." He said and she put a hand to her chest.

"There are so many things I can't tell you, but this, I have to tell you. I really like you so you should help me stop liking you." She said and sniffed.

She poured another cup of rice wine, but Alexander stopped her.

"At this rate, you'll be spilling all your secrets." He said and she laughed, jerking his hand off her.

"It's my business. You're to listen." She said and drank the rice wine in the cup.

"Look here Mr Grayson. You and I, we're destiny. We were meant to meet, we keep meeting each other, going places together, and you feel comfortable with me because we're soul mates!" She exclaimed, and Alexander laughed out loud.

"Soul what?" He asked and she sniffed.

"So I'm saying, don't tease me for this. Let's pretend like I never sai
