Maimed

Alexander's eyes opened wide as the sleep fell from them. He couldn't believe his eyes.

"Where are you?" He asked and as soon as the man gave him the room number, he jumped out of bed and quickly pulled a sweatshirt over his head before leaving the room.

"What happened to her?" He asked the moment he got there but didn't even need a reply. The woman was still there with two cleaners and the manager watching her.

There were deep knife slashes on her body as though the person who did it was trying to design her body with it but there was no blood on her tummy or chest, her face too wasn't left out, and Alexander knew if she was alive, it would leave a scar.

He knelt, trying not to get the blood on him, he shook her toe, no response.

"Call the police." He said and the manager went to the telephone instantly.

The police came minutes after and surveyed the body, wore their gloves and instructed everyone to move back.
