I was not expecting that question, and I am not sure I want to answer it. But I also know that trust is easy to break but hard to regain once broken. Alex goes into the bathroom, and I am embarrassed for thinking he meant for us to shower together. He wouldn't offer something like that already. I mean, he even asked for permission to hug me. I set my bag inside the closet on the empty side. The closet is huge. I could fit a bed in it. The bedroom is enormous too. I can only imagine how big the bathroom is. I really do need a shower, but I didn't want to take over his bathroom when he is used to not sharing with anyone. I lay on the bed on the other side of him. I am nervous. I have never slept in the same bed with anyone before."I hope you rest well." He says as I am staring at the ceiling."I hope you do too. It feels like everything around me stopped. All I can see is his face. The face I have not seen in fourteen years. It is older, and there is a scar that I don't remember him having above his eye. I have my shower done, and I can't help but pace the room. Alex is in the shower now, and the thought of him in the next room with no clothes on and water running down his body should have my mind running amuck. Alexander, Taking my shower, all I could hear and concentrate on was Ivy's heartbeat. I could hear it racing. I could tell she was pacing around the room. I didn't take my time.
