What was the use of the vibrating icon on a phone really? Because in all honesty, my phone still buzzed inside something and even from whatever dream world I was stuck in, I could hear it.

I lazily slung my hand on the wooden nightstand, my hand aimlessly trying to find where the damn machine was crying from. Unable to find it, I lazily got up from the bed, a headache coming in like I had somehow been struck with lightning.

Damn those martinis!

I cussed, my fingers running through my hair as a futile attempt in trying to bring the headache down. Once I could see clearly, I searched around for where my phone was buzzing from. I later found my purse on the floor and from there I got my phone.

I swiped the screen seeing Veronica's name pop up.
