CHAPTER FIVE
Virginia POV
I can't help but hug her, Devon and her have been together since junior year. He was really good to her and I could feel sadness in my heart knowing that I will never have anybody or that kind of love. I mean what guy would want to be with someone with so much baggage and is ultimately broken? "Mandy, I am so happy for you and Devon!"
She smiles and tucks her hair behind he left hear and that is when I see the ring! I am staring at her, shocked. She sees me and blushes and Chey and Paulette notice what I am gaping at.
"BITCH!" Chey yells and yanks Many's left hand across the table. "How could you NOT tell us? When did he pop the question? When is the wedding? Who is the Maid-of-Honor?"
Paulette just smiles and congratulates Mandy. I notice sadness cross her face briefly. I make a mental not to ask about that later.
