Chapter Forty Seven

The meeting finally came to an end, and everyone started walking out of the pack house as I also did the same. My mind was in getting home, and breaking the news to her.

I quickly got into my car, and got ready to drive, but just then the council members showed up, making me sighed softly.

If I had my way, I wouldn't want to take them home today. But they were the Council members and they were all the ones supporting me, so I had to do good for them.

"Get in please." I told them, after opening the car door. With smiles on their faces, they rushed to get in.

It's really so easy to please them, and honestly I somehow feel good about it that I was actually making them smile right now.
