Chapter Forty Six

After a while she finally returned with the food, and without wasting much time I started devouring the food hungrily, while she stood a little far away and started watching me, but I cared less about it.

Once I was done, I asked her about Brian and was told he headed out for a while, making me sighed softly before leaving the dining room.

I returned back to my bedroom since Brian wasn't home, as I tried to relax back on my bed, I heard the sound of his car driving into the compound and immediately I realised he was back home.

I felt like seeing him immediately, so I quickly jumped up on my feet as I rushed over to the window. I peeped through it and saw him getting down from his car making me sighed softly, as I waited for him to start walking in.

After a while he finally started coming in, so I quickly walked out of my bedroom, as I also started walking to the sitting room, so I could meet up with him.
