Chapter 24

Tyler’s POV

Dalton had dropped us off at work and as bad as I wanted to jump back in his truck and go lay up with him all day, I couldn’t. We had a shit ton of paperwork to do. I swear I had a two foot tall stack of reports sitting on my desk. Emery had thrown up twice already and I made fun of him as per usual. The dumbass has never been able to hold beer down so I don’t even know why he tried. As I was sitting there listening to some music on my earphones I started thinking about Maxine. She looked so familiar to me. I couldn’t place where I had seen her, but I knew for a fact I had seen her before.
