Chapter 24: Awkward Meeting

I looked around in surprise as Whitney hurried out of the mating ball angrily. What the hell just happened? I glanced back at Kylian, and he just shrugged his shoulders.

“Babe, do you know her? Have you previously met her? I asked, and he just looked at me, giving me the “How can you ask such a question? look.”

“How’s that possible? I just came down here to look for you,” he said with an eye roll. Thinking about it, there was no possibility of them meeting already. So why did Whitney seem so angry? And why did she run off like that?

I decided not to think too much about it and strolled deeper into the halls, looking for a perfect spot to sit, as there was no way I could return to Damon’s table with Kylian by my side. As we made our way further into the halls, I could see people whispering amongst themselves, and I could tell why.

Here at the moonshine pack, it was easy to know everyone, and if a stranger visited the pack, he or she would be fished out in one way or another. W
