“What are you doing?” Giovanni asked, frowning in confusion when he saw one of the pack gammas, Charlie, and I setting the pack arena for a bonfire.

“We are setting a bonfire.” Charlie said, and Giovanni frowned. I knew that both men didn’t understand what I was going on about, but I knew that when I brought up the memory, both mom and Giovanni were going to recall it. It was the one that we had when my brother died.
