(Kaeleigh’s POV)
The next week or so was busy. Chase told me that he wanted me to train with Zack so I could build my self defence up. Luna Elise wanted to spend time teaching me all the Luna duties and a sudden new big deal came up at work between Rose Bower International and us.
I was struggling to fit in the time to go see Jonathan, and part of me suspected that was the plan. I had a feeling that Chase was purposely having my schedule filled up, so I couldn’t see Jonathan. I got that he was just trying to protect me, but it was starting to get overbearing. Even if part of me does think he is right.

(Jensen’s POV)“Chase” I glanced at my dad before returning my sight to my friend. The look on his face was raw. It was twisted between pain and fury and even some fear in there. If I could just get to him, then maybe I could calm him down, but I was ready to protect Kaeleigh if it was required. I moved forward to get in front of Kaeleigh. I didn’t know what was wrong with him, but I wasn’t risking it.Then the air shifted and Chase growled at me.
