"Luna, it looks like we're running late."

I glanced around. It was a tragic scene with piles of mangled corpses. Their bodies were torn apart. Their blood was flowing profusely, even forming a small river on the ground.

"So, are the rogues who attacked us the rogues who left after destroying the Wildfire pack?"

Adam gave a weak look. "That seems to be the case, Luna."

"Split up! Find anyone who's still alive! If you find a rogue, destroy it on the spot!" Adam ordered in a high tone.

"Yes!"

The warriors, carrying their respective rifles, immediately went around the neighborhood. Some of them kept watch around the car which was an important transportation for us.

My heavy legs forced themselves to take a step. My blank gaze tried to scan the surroundings even though I didn't know what I was looking for. The building that was once colorful with tall, shady trees was now just a gray, burnt-out-looking building and trees with fallen branches and scratch marks on their trunks.
