'Oh my! It must be Hilbert! Too late! It's too late!' My heart was about to give up. The thought of my separation from my baby was happening before my eyes. Really, I wasn't ready.

If possible, I'd rather Hilbert shot me dead, and dumped me. Then I wouldn't have to bother with such a painful separation. My heart has already harbored many wounds.
