Alex P.O.V

I took a deep breath and touched the shield, it was visible again. The sharp spark of shocks passed through my body again just like it did before . I had to pull back my hand because I can not tolerate the pain anymore.

"Dammit there must be some way to get through this barrier". My powers can sense the other energy in the room. I can feel in my skin that my power was coming to the surface .My hands began to tingle. But instead of pushing from the energy,I felt like my body was craving that energy,that source. it was pulling me towards the woman lying on the bed , surrounded by it. I never felt something like that.My powers never let me close to another power.They always repails.

The pull was getting strong.It was like my powers ,my body was not in my control.I was trying to fight the pull.In fear I dug my heels in the ground when my body began to move on its own.
