I have been invited to the Masked Pride Pack to meet up with Abel Whitlock, the alpha and the father of Roxanne.
She had come to meet me in my home so that we can drive together for the meetup. I didn’t like her sitting and watching my every move but I had to stay silent and not object or else she would start crying again.
“Are you nervous?” she asked me, watching me get ready for dinner.
“No!” I shrugged my shoulders, feeling completely fine just out of energy. There was this weird feeling in my heart that kept pounding my head with the thought something was not right.
