Silas’ POV:
A Few Years Ago:
We have hit the road back for home and I hadn’t been able to focus on anything Rick had been talking about for the past few minutes.
"Silas!" Rick finally decided to nag me for being absent. I shook my head and then looked his way, he was staring at me.
"Hm?" I asked, feeling bad for not paying attention.
"So we are going to pretend like nothing weird happened tonight?" he finally brought up the main subject as he couldn’t avoid it anymore.
"Are you talking about that girl who accused me of impregnating her when I have never met her in my life?" I started babbling out of frustration. Now that the subject was being discussed, I was able to pour my emotions out.
I know Roxanne has already warned me about her sister but it just affected me very deeply.
"I know it is crazy but she sounded very genuine," he said, making me shake my head and stare at him
