Iris saw a noticeable change in Eros. After his fight with Ojas, they returned to the Imperial Palace to rest. Eros is more attentive than before and he is always touching her hands, shoulders, hair, and waist. He is trying to stay as close to her as possible. She is not bothered by his sudden change in behaviour. Instead, she basked in his attention and enjoyed the small moments with the man she was in love with.

That night Eros hugged her closer to him and insisted that she wear one of his shirts to sleep. She conceded to his requests and slept peacefully in his arms, forgetting what is in store for her in the future and everything that is scaring her.
