Katerina:

My heart raced against my ribcage as I walked out of the house, my chest rising and falling with each breath I took as I feared the lash out that I was going to be facing with Nathan.

Knowing that I just challenged his mum, I knew that it wasn’t the smartest thing to do; however, the woman had left me no other choice. She crossed every limit known to man, and I literally didn’t know what else to do to respond to her without ending the whole situation with a fight that would end up breaking Nathan and I.
