I pushed my way through the crowd with Zadie in tow, but when I came to where the cries were coming from, it wasn't my mother. It was Amelia curled into a ball, hugging Asher's baby blanket tightly in her grasp as Paul consoled her with his own tear-filled eyes.

The crowd gasped as their eyes fell on me, causing Paul to look my way, and that is when I saw my father holding my mother as she balled into his shoulder.

"Paisley?" Paul said, surprised.

My mother's head spun. "Paisley!" She cried in relief.

I stared around at the crowd. "What is going on?" I asked, perplexed.

My father and mother hurried to my side, whisking Zadie and me away to the kitchen.
