The sound of blood-curdling screams that came from miles away quickly drew closer and closer. Darkness crept up on me by vast storm clouds as thunder shook the ground beneath me, and crackles in the sky lit up my surroundings. The wind swirled around me, stirring up dirt and debris clogging my vision.
Glimpses of Asher and Zade flash before me, but when I reached out, they were too far for me to grasp.
