The Confrontation

At this, Claire was pissed. She had wanted to hear some gossip since she loved to gossip about silly things. 

“You just bothered my sleep for nothing.” Claire was disappointed and dropped the call on her end.

“I’m sorry…” Betty whispered as she lay in bed smiling to herself.
