I had to drive back to New York, where Ryker's business among humans is located. It's a world-renowned company dealing in medicines that heal humans. It was Ryker's idea to make wolf herbs, which we used to heal our pack, available to humans who suffer from common illnesses, just like wolf shifters do.

I parked the car and walked into the business center. I hate being around human cities. I prefer the pack lands, where it's secluded from humans, and there are no car honks and pollution—just Mother Nature nurturing us.
