Belle – POV

I dressed sharply, looking my best since Venica told me that Elton prefers his acquaintances to dress well and wear branded clothes. I stepped out of the penthouse, which was empty and quiet. I missed Flora, who used to stay here and always ensured our food was hot and ready. I had gotten used to that and to watching N*****x series together. It was for the best that I broke things off with her. Shaking off the thoughts, I shut the door behind me.

As I got to the parking lot, I noticed a woman in a black hoodie standing right next to my car, making me suspicious. "Hey, step away from the car," I said, giving her a warning.
