Chapter Eighteen

Marie and Jack decided to stay in the mansion for the night after their conversation. Tristan learned a lot about lvan's parents. Jack and Marie didn't lived in Moonlight Wolf Pack. They lived in a cottage outside of town in the woods. They didn't say anything about why they lived there instead of living in their pack and Tristan didn't ask either.

He did wanted to ask but he controlled himself, using the excuse that they didn't want to tell anyone. They would have told him if they wanted to.

The fact that Jack and Marie weren't staying in the pack town didn't mean they weren't part of the pack. They were still pack members of Moonlight Wolf Pack.

Wow, his mating with lvan was the best thing that could have ever happened to him. Lvan showed him so much light and happiness, and all the good people in his life now. He couldn't wait to meet Jake and his brothers and introduced lvan to them.

"What are you thinking about?" Lvan asked a smiling Tristan who was in his arms. Tristan pulled from lvan's arms and turned to face him. Lvan also faced Tristan with his beautiful smile on his face.

"I'm really happy" Tristan confessed. "Ah, I see. Care to tell me who's making you so happy?" Lvan asked, with a smirk. "You. I'm glad I met your parents today. I'm glad they're nothing like my parents. And I'm really glad I met you lvan" Tristan said with a smile. Lvan planted a kiss on his lips before hugging him and saying, "Me too baby. Me too"

"I see. How about we celebrate again with sex? I really need your cock in my ass in like five minutes"

Lvan burst out laughing, "You have a sluty mouth baby, and I like it"

"Am glad you do" Tristan pulled away from lvan's arms and smashed his lips on lvan's.

They were all seated having breakfast except Alan who was still asleep. Breakfast food was fried eggs, bread and juice. Minna and Sandy finished serving them and went to the kitchen with James. Marie looked at Tristan who was sharing a look with his mate. Both smiling like fools.

"So Tristan, did you sleep well?" Tristan and lvan both snapped out of their little world and turned to look at Marie. "Yes, Moโ€” I mean Marie" everyone at the table might have noticed what Tristan was about to address Marie as, as they all turned to look at him. Feeling all the eyes on him, Tristan took his glass of juice and buried his face down as he was drowning down the juice in embarrassment.

Marie chuckled and said, "Is okay Tristan, you can call me mother. I told you you're my son now right?" Tristan slowly raised up his head and witnessed a smile on Marie's face before he nodded. "Okay, mother"

"Yes son" Tristan smiled at Marie who smiled back. Lvan placed his hand on Tristan's lap and squeezed. Tristan turned to look at his mate who gave him his best smile and in return, he also gave his best smile.

"Where's Alan?" Jack asked. "He's still asleep" Roy answered this time. Alan wanted to play with him and Colten last night. They spent almost the whole night, playing car race games, playing with pillows and jumping on bed. The kid was too energetic to play with old men like Roy and Colten.

"Is he okay? Is he sick or something?" Tristan asked worriedly. Marie watched as Tristan got up, probably going to see Alan. "No, he's fine" Roy answered immediately but Tristan didn't look convinced. "Are you sure?"

"More than anything" Tristan nodded. He trusted Roy and he knew the guy wouldn't lie to him about anything. "Okay" Tristan said and slowly took his seat. Lvan took Tristan's hand and began caressing. He nodded his head to assure Tristan Roy was telling the truth but he didn't have to believe Tristan trusted Roy.

Marie couldn't help but like Tristan even more. He was worried about a kid who wasn't even his while the person who birthed him left him behind. For what?! Marie didn't know why Mavis left but she knew it wasn't for anything of importance.

"You're nothing like that bitch Mavis" They all turned to look at Marie. "Mom please" lvan said. He didn't like hearing about that woman and he hasn't even told Tristan about her yet. He knew Tristan wanted to ask about her. It wasn't once, always everyday. He wanted to tell Tristan when the right time came but he also didn't know when was the right time.

Marie rolled her eyes at her son. Marie could see Tristan wanted to ask about Mavis but he was holding back. Marie wanted to tell him everything but she also knew she wasn't the right person to say anything.

The atmosphere was odd and awkward. "A...Ah, have you introduced Tristan to the pack Tristan?" Jack decided to lift up the mood. "No, I haven't. I'm thinking of doing it this week"

"Oh, I see" Lvan turned to look at Tristan. He seemed to be in a thought. Lvan squeezed his hand to bring him out of his thoughts. Coming out of his thoughts, Tristan turned to look at lvan who had a smile on his face. Tristan forced out a smile and picked up the glass of water which was his. He took a sip and placed it on the table again.

Lvan watched Tristan all that while. Something was troubling Tristan and he didn't need a genius to tell him it had something to do with Mavis Cross, his ex wife.

"James! We're done" Even shouted. James came out of the kitchen, followed by Minna and Sandy. James stood behind Lvan's chair, instructing Minna and Sandy who were cleaning the table. After cleaning up, they left together with James.

"Lvan, come on, we have work to do" Chris said, still seated as he rubbed his tummy. Damn! He was full. "Come on, can't I have today off?. I want to go on a run with my mate. I still haven't seen his wolf form yet"

"Really?" Chris asked Tristan. Tristan nodded. He also wanted to go on a run with lvan. He wanted to see lvan's wolf. "Fine, you can have today. Just today"

"Roger that" lvan smiled at Chris who rolled his eyes with a smile on his face.

"So, Alan's birthday is coming soon, what are we going to do?" Even asked. They all shared a look.
