Jasmine sat on the edge of her bed, staring blankly at the wall. The house was silent, save for the occasional creak of the old wooden floors. Her eyes were swollen and red from crying, and her mind replayed the nightmare she had been living for the past hours. Her twin boys, only five months old, were missing. The police were doing their best, but there were no leads yet. Every minute that ticked by felt like an eternity.
