Chapter Seventy-Four

Alex’s POV

“I am glad they both are mates you know.” I said to John and he looked shocked. I never spoke to him since he started working for me so he looked really suprised.

“Why do you have such a shocked look on your face?” I asked him then laughed. I was such an ass to him when he first came.

“It’s nothing Alpha. I am really glad that you like me.”’he said and I could only laugh.

“I am also glad that they are mates. I heard that her punishment could be reduced because of that. Her mate is an official member of this pack and also very high in status so she can’t just be killed off or banished.” He said to me and I stared at him for quite some time.

“Are you a spy?” I asked him and his mouth opened.

“What…” he stuttered with fear in his eyes. It was just a joke but the fear in his eyes made me rethink that.

I had to be very careful with everyone in the pack now.

“I am outside of Sheira’s hospital door. When you both are done making out please come out because I want to speak to her.”
