Chapter Ninety- six

Tyler’s POV

As I turned to leave in the dream, I heard her speak right there behind me.

“He is my husband…”

I smiled with tears as she ran towards my direction. The smile was soon wiped off as I felt something piercing through my skin into my heart.

“This is for hurting me. Rest in peace, Tyler.”

I jolted awake from the nightmare, gasping for breath. I had been having several nightmares about my bad deeds towards Jasmine. The dream lingered, its vivid images and intense emotions haunting me long after I had awoken. The memory of Jasmine's defiant gaze, the woman's desperate eyes, and my own impotent rage stayed with me, a reminder of the powerlessness I felt in the face of my own actions. It was a feeling that gnawed at me, urging me to find a way to turn my anger into action, to make a difference in the real world where my efforts could truly matter.
