The tequila only made her miserable.

Setting aside the empty glass cup, she walked over to the fridge and opened it, shocked to find it empty. She checked the freezer and was surprised to find it empty as well.

She stormed into his room unannounced and Massa looked up from the magazine he was reading.

“What happened to all the blood?”

Massa feigned ignorance as he sat up. “What blood?”

She glared at him. “Don’t be stupid Massa. You know exactly what I’m talking about.”

“No, I don’t.”

“The fuck Massa! I’m goddamned hungry and there’s no single bag of blood in the kitchen! How the fuck did that happen?”

“I don’t know.”

She rose a brow. “What the fuck do you mean by you don’t know? Only you and I have been here. I don't know what happened to the blood, which means you should know.”

“Honestly, I don’t.”
