Chapter 6: Memories
After Chris had finished showering and he wore the clothes that were prepared by Nathan, he went to the dining room. At the same point in time, Nathan was done making their breakfast and he was ready to serve the food.
As they sat together and ate breakfast, there was not much chatter going around. Nathan liked to eat quietly and enjoyed his food in peace. Whereas, Chris was a big eater and he loved to stuff his face fully without acknowledging his surroundings. As Nathan glanced at the clock mounted on the wall, his eyes widened and his expression turned pale. He was running late. He immediately devoured the last sandwich into his mouth as he ran around the kitchen to put away the dirty dishes. He then ran towards the front door of his home and put on his socks. Chapter 11: The Lost Boy The moment he had stepped foot inside the hospital building, he could see how chaotic the place was. Telephones ringing on the front desks, hospital beds being pushed back and forth, the arrival of new patients and many more. Chapter 12: Hierarchy, Statuses & Omega The bossy nurse named Amanda, whom Chris found out from his mother, had long walked out of the nursery with her head hung low. His mother had openly reprimanded her of her behaviour and attitude, especially with the way she was treating Chris. Other than that, she was being held accountable for disrupting the peace and being irresponsible for not supervising a toddler. Everyone on the scene was shortly dismissed and the room was filled with peace again. “Charlie, are you ready?” Chris’ mother, Anna Kiz Lukeman, asked gently as she prepared the needle. The toddler named Charlie nodded his head slowly before holding onto Chris’ left hand tightly as he bravely embraced himself for the needle. Chris patted the toddler’s head softly, “It’ll be okay, Charl. You won’t feel a thing.”

Chapter 13: I Have To Win Taking the bus back to Nathan's place was not a peaceful ride. It was too crowded and the passengers barely left any space for Chris to breathe in. He could literally smell everyone's mixed scents of sweats and colognes from miles away. Unfortunately for him, as much as he wanted to block it off, they kept invading his nose. This was one of the perks of an Alpha. Chris was annoyed and he let out a low growl, letting them know that he needed his space and he did not wish to smell any of them at all. However, he knew it would not work since the majority are on their headphones, so they were deaf. Even if they were not on their headphones, they just ignored him. Other than that, those who wish to move away from Chris, could not move even if they wanted to. All of them were stuck in this moveable vehicle after all.

Chapter 14: Truth? The ball bounced off the net and the two teenagers jumped simultaneously. They each scored 99 points and only one of them would be the winner. Time seemed to slow down for Chris as he looked over to Nathan who was persistent in getting the ball first with all his might.
