The chugs of beer lay in front of me and the boys as we squabbled jokes like dice between us. It was suddenly needed because we haven’t figured out were the werewolves were. We were in the dark.

“Can I come in?” A feminine voice sounded.

We stopped our laidback mood, and got alert immediately. Hopefully, the bitch hadn’t figured out that she had been played right into our hands. That would suck big time.

“Don’t say a word. She is mine,” I said softly. “Yes, you can dear,” I said calmly.

The door swung open, and Chloe stepped in. She was looking like a whole mess. Her hair was all over the place, and her clothes looked like it had been into dry mud and back, plus I could see some blood clots around her.

“You look terrible,” I said, rising to my feet.

“Thanks for the compliment, Ian,” she said sarcastically.

I walked over to her, and then helped her to a black seat. Thankfully, Marcus wasn’t around. I signalled to the boys to leave. Chloe didn’t like too much crowd,
