Twenty Eight

I tried to release his grip on my arm, but I couldn’t. His grip was ironclad, and I suddenly felt like my hands will fall off my shoulders. It was the worst experience, and literally terrified me.

“Be quiet,” he whispered in my ears.

A shiver went through my veins. I couldn’t place the voice, and for a second I wondered if this was how I was going to die. It was the worst possible emotion I could ever feel, and it scared me to death.

He pushed me in, sitting me down on a chair. Despite the fact I was a werewolf, I couldn’t make out anything in the room, and that caused me to swallow hard.

“You’re a werewolf, behave like one,” Mike’s voice rang in my head.

It was like it had the switch to turn on the wolf part of me. I felt the human part of me shrink into my soul, giving way to my wolf abilities. Everywhere suddenly seemed bright.

“Relax, if you’re good, I won’t hurt you,” the man said calmly.

His voice was coming towards my left, but there was nothing I could do because
