Chapter One Hundred and Twenty

Ava’s POV

I woke up to the gentle warmth of the morning sun shining through the curtains. As the soft light kissed my face, I blinked away the remains of sleep and yawned. "Wow, it's morning already," I cried, surprised at how quickly the night had passed.

The events of the previous day rushed back to me, and I sighed, remembering the mix of feelings that had overwhelmed me.

I sat up in bed, letting out a pleasant stretch, feeling my muscles loosen. The hotel room was now bathed in the soft glow of daytime, and I took a moment to absorb my surroundings. The walls, once witnesses to my inner turmoil, now seemed more comfortable in the morning light.
