CHAPTER 11

"A witch," Mila repeated as Rah just stared at her in agony.

"Ow... this hurts," Rah cried in pain.

"Sana," Mila muttered as she caressed the spot of burn.

"What did you do?" Rah spoke, as he touched his face. "The pain is gone."

"I healed your face," Mila smiled. "But you have a scar."

"What?" Rah blanched.

"Vim extermina," Mila continued, "there, the scar is gone."

"Really?" Rah couldn't believe it.

"I don't have a mirror, else I would have shown you," Mila laughed.

"Prove it," and Rah lifted his pants and showed Mila a big, ugly scar on his shins. "I got burnt some time ago. Prove it."

"How would you explain its disappearance?" Mila asked sharply.

"No one knows it is here. My dad did, but he is long dead. And I have not yet taken my pants down for --" he paused and looked embarrassed. "This scar... it runs up to my..." and he paused again. "Can you remove it?"
