CHAPTER 9

Mila's senses were on high alert. She was feeling extremely bothered. The way Chloe clung to Arthur's body, said a lot. But if Chloe was the one who was permitted to touch him, why was he approaching her?

"You fight very well," someone spoke from behind. Mila turned and found Tony. Like a lost puppy, he had come to her.

"And you don't fight well at all," Mila snapped.

Tony just smiled, reminding Mila that he was under her influence. In all Arthur's drama, she had forgotten about him.

"You look sad," Tony purred lightly.

"Aren't you supposed to train these men in Arthur's absence?" Mila asked.

"We all deserve a break," Tony grinned like a stupid. Mila looked back, Arthur's men were just chatting and standing idly.

"Fine," Mila snapped and started to walk away, but Tony suddenly grabbed her hand.

" Don't go there, they are arguing," Tony spoke urgently.

Tony was concentrating and Mila knew he was using his wolf's ears to eavesdrop. Mila too shifted to a side, where she was hidden from
