Around The Pack (1)

Dove's POV

It's been two days in the pack and I've been in the room all through.

Lexus hadn't slept in here with me, but he did come to check up on me, give me some food and leave immediately, I guess my discomfort and embarrassment was axiomatic.

My right eye-lid has been twitching repeatedly nowadays and a sense of foreboding creeps into my heart, leaving me continuously paranoid with dread. I've been thinking about it nonstop, and I think Lexus may have noticed my weariness too… I should probably forget about this.

Earlier today, I braced myself and asked Lexus if I could ‘get some air somewhere outside the room’, he’d agreed and it had me beaming with excitement until now.

I had no idea how a pack looked, and I'm quite nervous but having Lexus be my guide made butterflies bubble in my belly.
