MAX POVAlexis stared at her hands. “Sometimes, when I tell people about my childhood, they pity me and make it seem like I missed out on something because I was homeschooled and pretty much never met anyone else asides my Mum and the mailman until I was about fifteen. She chewed and swallowed then said, “Now tell me, how was your childhood?”“My childhood was pretty normal. I grew up with the burden of inheriting a conglomerate. However my parents were loving to the best of their abilities. My mother is very straight forward and so, I wasn’t cuddled every night and anything of sort.

LUKE’S POVI arrived in the country after a long time. It was a rather planned trip. I wanted to put some distance between myself and Eve. I had lost all control and given in to her yet my alpha’s instinct had said against that. ALEXIS’ POVI sat in the car beside Max as he drove to my Mum’s house. After I was declared 90% healed from the accident injuries by the doctor, I figured it was time to go see my mum. I was a bit elated. I’d regained such height of healing in just a little over two weeks after the accident. It was phenomenal and I just had to give great credit to my accelerated healing abilities. I’d always had it. Healed quickly more than anyone. In high school, it made me a great asset during sports. So, I threw myself into it.
