Racheal's POV

As I slipped on my shorts and made my way downstairs, I could hear the faint sound of my mom bustling around in the kitchen.

The morning sunlight streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow on the wooden floors. I joined her in the kitchen, where she was preparing breakfast, and as I sat down at the table, she glanced at me curiously.

"What's that scar on your thighs?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

I looked down at the faded mark, a reminder of a past adventure. "Oh, that's from the arrow wound," I replied casually.

Her eyes widened in surprise. "The arrow wound? Why didn't you say anything sooner?"

I shrugged, a small smile playing on my lips. "It's already healed, Mom. No need to worry."

She sighed, shaking her head slightly. "You always manage to surprise me with your escapades. Well, how about I teach you a spell?"

Excitement bubbled within me as I nodded eagerly. "Yes, please! That would be amazing."
