Rachael's POV

As I packed my things, Hilary and Hailey whined "Don't worry, girls," I reassured them, gently patting their heads. "I'll be coming to see you often. We will have plenty of time I promise."

My mom stood by the doorway, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you sure about this, sweetheart? Going back to that place?"

I sighed, trying to hide my own apprehension. "I don't know, Mom. But Alpha Axel promised me that no harm would come to me ever again. And I trust him."

She nodded, her hand reaching out to squeeze mine. "Just remember, you always have a safe haven here. You can come back anytime, no questions asked."

Her words brought a sense of comfort, a reminder that I had a place to retreat to if things didn't go as planned.

With a grateful smile, I followed her to the car, where Alpha Axel was waiting behind the wheel. Daniel sat beside him, his eyes filled with determination.

As I settled into the backseat, my mom beside me, Alpha Axel turned to face us. "Are you ready?"
