Chapter 21

Flora laid on her bed, her chin resting on her two palms. She thought about the narrow escape she just had at the hospital. She adored the fact that Orville was not forcing her to do a thing. 

She fell flat to the bed, her back was now resting on the bed unlike before when her chest was laying on the bed. 

She caressed her belly and mumbled, "baby, I may not know whom your father is but I assure you that I will protect you." 

She remained in that position for a while and after she was tired and bored of that position, she adjusted into a sitting position. 

Her mind drifted to her brother who was schooling in Atlanta and she smiled instinctively. She loved the fact that her brother now had a good life. 

She missed him and can't wait to meet with him during the holiday. 

She just couldn't wait for the two months to clock when she would have the time to divorce Orville.
