"What do mean that she fainted?! Was she hurt? I gave you guys one job and you... You know what? Never mind. You guys are dismissed for the evening. You've don't enough for one night."

I cut the call and breathed deeply. It was dark and I stood at the window of the hotel and looked out. I was on the top floor and I had the most wonderful view of the city but even that wasn't enough to make me stop regretting how i failed to protect Bailey. I wanted her prom this year to be perfect but it was now ruined.

I remembered how miserable she was last year. I felt sad seeing her come home in tears as she was the only one at the dance that didn't have a date. She was so lonely and she cried for weeks. Why is this story getting so messed up it started off great the last several chapters are very messed up for the amount the book cost I expect more Disappointed ... the author needs to pay more attention

So .. at the beginning of the chapter Grey doesn't trust Miguel. Then when Miguel calls him to say he's with Bailey, Grey is relieved she is in good hands. Really ??
