Naomi's POV

For the next few minutes that followed, I just stood there, staring at Raven whose chest was making an up and down movement as she stared murderously at me.

If looks could kill, I would be definitely below the cold earth by now.

With a cynical smile on the edge of my lips, I walked up to her, closing the distance between us and with a coy smile on my lips, I placed my hand on her shoulder, “Are you scared that I already found out about the kidnap without your help?”

“What nonsense are you spewing, get your hands off me this minute.” she yelled, trying to push my hand off her shoulder, but I tightened my grasp and then pulled her close until we were just a few inches apart.

“I know everything that has been happening, stop trying to interfere in this little adventure I just embarked on.”

Patting her cheeks and still wearing my smile, I swirled around and then began to head towards the exit when she tossed a glass in my direction.
