Naomi's POV

Raven's open confrontation was something I couldn't wrap my head around easily. Her confidence that I wouldn't be able to hurt her was overwhelming and so I began to wonder if I would be able to avenge Vanessa like I had initially planned.

The next morning during breakfast, it was hard to believe what I was seeing right in front of me.

Not only was Alpha Baron acting all lovey-dovey towards her, the both of them were sharing jokes and laughing at intervals.

For some reason, seeing this made me annoyed. I wanted to slam their heads together as anger raked through me.

“She must have bewitched him,” I said under my breath, taking my gaze off them, and then began to shove my food down my gullet.

“Naomi.” Alpha Baron called suddenly, making me hang my hand in the air as I stared hard at the plate in front of me.

Heaven saves him if he tries to make fun of me in front of Naomi, I was going to make sure I deal with him in a way he wouldn't have ever imagined.
