Alpha Baron's POV

With my hands folded across my chest, I was pacing the length and breath of my office, different ideas swirling through my head at the same time.

According to Richard, the unfortunate guard was receiving treatment in the pack hospital and thankfully, he was responding to it.

The more I reviewed what had happened in my head, the more skeptical I became.

When Richard suggested we accosted Beta Williams in his home, I kicked against it immediately. Not only was it going to worsen the issue, it was going to create chaos.

Exhaling, I fell on the couch with a thud.
