A strange encounter

Helena’s P.O.V.

My head blew away with Zayden’s compliment, I took three breaths to calm the burning inferno which was suddenly activated in my chest.

Avoiding him would be a good strategy to end this matter there, but Carver’s awkward expressions forced me to take action.

Breathless with anger, I threw that bouquet on Zayden’s face, which he caught successfully.

“Stop lying, Alpha. You hate the color green!”

As it wasn’t enough to deny his statement, I added some proof.

“Your favorite color is red, so don’t spread fake news. No one is dying to be dressed according to your preferences.”
