Chapter 48: Not The Right Time

NATALIA:

I halted, biting my lower lips, and then I turned around to see Christian still waiting for me. I could feel my heart pounding against my chest because I was about to say something that I had in mind for years now.

Although I didn't see it as the right time to tell him how I really felt, I had to because I had this feeling someone else would definitely try to get close to him.

I turned around to stare at him. Swallowing a lump of saliva, and summoning enough courage, I opened my mouth to speak up, but then the right words were failing to come out as I stared at his deep brown eyes. I swallowed another lump of saliva unable to take my gaze away from his eyes.

"Are you just going to keep staring at me?"

His words made me realize that I was making a fool of myself the more I was only staring at him without saying a word and so I cleared my throat to speak up.

"I….I…"

My heartbeat increased even more as I tried to say something.

I am enjoying the book, but it does need a lot of editing. There are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors
