Chapter 59: Karen's Wish

TYLER:

Zane and I were talking when a maid interrupted us. "What's wrong?"

"Alpha, Luna Karen is awake."

I rose to my feet immediately I heard her, and rushed to Karen's room. She was awake, but still lying on the bed with her head facing the ceiling. I took her hand when I was close to her.

"K…Karen, can you hear me? Hey…"

"I had a dream." She replied.

"What dream?"

"I didn't get to at least hold my baby in my arms." Her eyeballs suddenly fell on me, and I knew she was trying to tell me something. "Don't take my baby away from me, tyler, please don't."

I watched as tears rolled down her eyes;but there was still nothing I could do. Karen couldn't become the Luna of my pack forever. She was weak and had nothing in her to become a Luna like Emily does. The only use I had for her was the baby she was carrying. Not only was she weak, her it felt like her family totally abandoned her and even the status of her pack wasn't rubbing on her.
