I sat in my office staring at the paper which laid in front of me. I was simply trying hard to get my mind off last night because even as I tried so much to deny what I felt, I knew I wanted her, I wanted all of Emily last night and I barely controlled myself.

My wolf was crazy I was crazy as well. I saw Emily at her weakest yesterday and I simply wanted to be there for her. For the first time in a long time, for the first time since I lost my mate, I felt I had to protect someone, I had to keep her safe, and most importantly, I had to make her happy again.
