Chapter 77 | Not Alone

It’s been three weeks.

Things are… awkward still. Donovan and Penelope don’t speak to us often, they haven’t joined us for training, and they seem to be in a state of shock and mourning.

Amelia keeps herself busy. She’s honestly incredible. She has started to bond with the pack and even some of the elders that were so against her being Luna have come to apologize to me. She trains every day and I swear, her wolf has grown even bigger. Her wolf is larger than mine is and soon I would be nervous to try and fight against her in wolf form.

She walks into our room and looks at me with a smile and I remark, “You seem rather chipper.”

She chuckles, “Penelope asked if we could talk with them. I think they’re finally ready to open up to us and maybe even move on.”

I smile, “That’s great.”

She nods, “Let’s get ready for dinner to meet with them.”

I follow her lead and watch her with a smile. She’s so graceful and beautiful and it’s nice seeing her so happy. Penelope is the only person lef
